Human Resources

Position Summary

The Human Resources Generalist supports the daily functions of the Human Resources department, including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR operations. This role serves as a key resource for employees and managers while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage full-cycle recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding employees.
  • Administer new hire orientation and employee onboarding programs.
  • Serve as a point of contact for employee relations matters and HR-related inquiries.
  • Maintain employee records and HRIS data with a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Support benefits enrollment, leave administration, and workers' compensation processes.
  • Assist with performance management, employee development, and training initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies.
  • Conduct HR audits and maintain personnel files.
  • Generate HR reports and analyze workforce data.
  • Partner with managers to support organizational goals and workforce planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
  • Experience with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar HR certification.
  • Experience supporting multi-state employees.
  • Bilingual skills (Spanish preferred in some organizations).
  • Experience with payroll, benefits administration, and leave management.
